This Quilt Could Be Yours!

This beautiful queen-size quilt featuring Outer Banks lighthouses was lovingly hand-appliqued and hand-quilted by the Ocracoke Needle and Thread Club. The quilters then donated it to Ocracoke Preservation Society for their annual fundraising quilt raffle.

Tickets are available at the OPS Museum, where you can see the quilt in person, or by calling 252-928-7375. Tickets really are only $1 each – or 6 for $5. What a bargain! The winning ticket will be drawn at the OPS fall membership meeting in November.

Last fall, an Ocracoke resident won the quilt raffle, which gives us an opportunity to get a picture! Congrats to Ann Borland, who got to take home the beautiful sampler quilt, also hand-stitched and donated by the Ocracoke Needle and Thread Club.
