Art Opening at Ocracoke Gallery

Water lover and painter Sarah divides her seasons between the Gulf Coast of Texas and Ocracoke. Sarah’s passion for plein aire painting always takes her to her favorite beaches in North Carolina, Texas and Florida. After living on Ocracoke for ten years, Sarah earned her wheel time to become a USCG licensed captain. She also has a BFA in printmaking, drawing and painting from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. A deep respect for nature, and her drive to live a simplistic lifestyle keeps her returning to the sea.

Art Openings are held at the gallery from 5 – 8 p.m. with refreshments and light hors d’oeuvres provided. Live music is now a part of each event. All are invited to share in these enjoyable, entertaining, social evenings with the local artist.
