Six dentists will arrive on Ocracoke today for a 3-day FREE clinic.
- The dentists will see patients Wednesday, November 18 through Friday, November 20.
- They will set up their trailer in the parking lot behind the Fire Department.
- Ocracoke community members can come in the back door of the fire department to register and await an appointment.
- There will be no charges for the examinations. The patients will have to pay for any prescription ordered. These will be handled through the clinic.
- If you told Ocracoke Health Center that you want an appointment, the scheduler for the dentists will call you.
Ocracoke resident OVFD officer Dick Jacoby worked with Dr. Steven Smith to organize the dentists' visits and find them complimentary housing while they are here. Dick wished to extend a special thanks to the Anchorage Inn and the Village Realty for providing the six rooms for the dentists for the four nights they are here in Ocracoke.
