Town Hall Meeting Set for Sunday

Hyde County in partnership with federal, local, and volunteer organizations are hosting a community town hall meeting to answer questions and listen to concerns from the Ocracoke Community.

A meal will be served by Fat Fellas at the Berkley Barn for residents on Sunday, September 29th starting at 12:30 p.m. and the town hall discussion will begin at 2:00 p.m. 

Topics and presenters include but are not limited to:

• Ferry Service 

• National Park Service Operations 

• Volunteer Coordination 

• Commodity Distribution

• Building Inspections and Other County Functions 

• Temporary and Long Term Housing Needs
