Monday, February 25th:

6pm: Ocracoke Book Club meeting @ Ocracoke Library. All are welcome to come out and help pick a book for the March meeting!

Tuesday, February 26th: 

6pm: Go Dolphins! Home Varsity basketball game -- State Playoff game right here in the Dolphin Tank!! 

6:30pm: Open Jam @ Coyote Music Den, 6:30-8:30pm – sing, play, listen – all ages, all levels welcome (youth are encouraged to come at 6:30). Every Tuesday night through March. No charge, but donations welcome. 

Wednesday, February 27th:  

7pm: Island Trivia @ Gaffer's Just $2 to play; create a team of up to 4 players. Proceeds will benefit Ocracoke resident John Simpson, who has recently undergone major surgery. Show off how smart you are!

7pm: Word Play @ Coyote Music Den, 7-8:30pm. If you love words … bring something you wrote, read, heard and share, listen or tell a story. Every Wednesday night through March. No charge, but donations welcome.

Thursday, February 28th:

7pm: Movie Night @ Ocracoke Library: To celebrate (the last day of) Black History Month, the library is showing "Hidden Figures" at this free event. All are welcome -- it's a great family movie. 7-9:15pm. Light refreshments provided; bring your own if you'd like. 

Friday, March 1st:

10am: NCDOT Ferry Division Job Fair @ Hatteras Civic Center The North Carolina Department of Transportation’s Ferry Division will be holding its first-ever career fair on Friday, March 1, at the Hatteras Civic Center from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The division will be accepting applications for all positions system-wide, from parking lot attendants and engineers to marine welders and captains. Positions are also available for the dozens of part-time and temporary summer positions that are needed every season. Career fair attendees are asked to bring a resume, along with any applicable certifications. The fair is free and open to the public. 7pm: Kids Movie Night! FREE, snacks provided. The movie is the animate feature "Smallfoot"; 7-8:30pm. Bring a blanket or pillow to get comfy on the floor.

Sunday, March 3rd: 

Services @ both churches: Ocracoke United Methodist (Taize service 7am; Sunday School 10am; service at 11am) and Ocracoke Assembly of God (Sunday School 10am, services at 11am and 6pm; also Wednesday night service at 7pm).

11am: Fried Chicken Fundraiser @ Jason's Restaurant: Proceeds will help the Middle School Boys Basketball team reimburse the school for their trip to the basketball showcase. Two Fried Chicken thighs with mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, buttered rolls and sweet or unsweetened tea for $12. And a Bake Sale! Let Jason's make your Sunday dinner!
