Ocrafolk Festival this weekend!

The Ocrafolk 2018 schedule can be found here. The fun starts Friday at 1pm, and runs through Sunday at 4pm. Wristbands are needed for seating in some areas. Read more about that here. New this year is "partner locations" -- Ocrafolk events that take place at island venues. 

National Park Service interpretive programs start this week and run until Labor Day.

Monday, May 28th:

8:30am: NPS Crabbing More info @ NPS Visitor Center

1pm: NPS Pirates More info @ NPS Visitor Center

3pm: NPS Barrier Islands More info @ NPS Visitor Center

8:30pm: NPS Night Sky program @ Lifeguard Beach More info @ NPS Visitor Center

Tuesday, May 29th: 

8:30am: NPS Cast Netting More info @ NPS Visitor Center

2:30pm: NPS Ocracoke History More info @ NPS Visitor Center

POSTPONED DUE TO RAIN: 4pm: Ocracoke's First Annual Intra-Island Little League Championship of the World Ocracoke teams mix it up for this fun game! Concessions will eliminate the need to make dinner. Come out and support the kids and Community Park! New date TBA.

8pm: Live Music! Coyote Plus One begins this week! The Coyote Music Den is in the Community Square, and will host "Coyote Plus One" at 8pm every Tuesday night. This week's special guest is Ocracoke's own badass Kate McNally. More info at www.coyotemusic.ne$15 adults/$7 kids under 12. Doors open at 7:30pm. Bring your own refreshments; soft drinks and water available for purchase.

8pm: Live Music at the Coyote Music Den! The Coyote Music Den is in the Community Square, and will host "Coyote: Just We Two" (just Marcy and Lou!) at 8pm every Wednesday night. $15 adults/$7 kids under 12. Doors open at 7:30pm. Bring your own refreshments; soft drinks and water available for purchase. More info at www.coyotemusic.net 

Thursday, May 31st:

8:30am: NPS Program @ Pony Pens More info @ NPS Visitor Center

2:30pm: NPS Barrier Islands More info @ NPS Visitor Center

6pm: Wine tasting at Zillie's Island Pantry! Wine tastings take place every Thursday @ 6pm, and pair five great wines with delicious hors d'oeuvres from the pantry. Space is limited, so make a reservation, and sign up at zillies.com.

8pm: Live Music! Raygun Ruby @ Dajio, 8–11pm

Friday, June 1st:

1pm: Ocrafolk Festival kicks off with live music on the Live Oak Stage @ Books to Be Red. Box Office open 11am–6pm. 

5:30pm: Ocrafolk Partner Location: Mahalo Jazz @ Oyster Co. 5:30–7pm. No admission wristband required. 

6pm: Wine tasting at Zillie's Island Pantry! Wine tastings take place every Friday @ 6pm, and pair five great wines with delicious hors d'oeuvres from the pantry. Space is limited, so make a reservation, and sign up at zillies.com.

10pm: Ocrafolk Partner Location: Aaron Burdett @ Gaffer's. No admission wristband required. 

10pm: Ocrafolk Partner Location: Craicdown Celtic & World Music Session @ 1718 Brewery. No admission wristband required. 

10pm: Ocrafolk Partner Location: Cane Mille Road & Chatham Rabbits @ Community Store. No admission wristband required. 

8pm Live Music! Kate McNally @ Dajio, 8–11pm

Sunday, June 3rd:

Services @ both churches: Ocracoke United Methodist (Sunday School 10am; service at 11am) and Ocracoke Assembly of God (Sunday School 10am, services at 11am and 6pm; also Wednesday night service at 7pm).

8pm: Live Music!!
