Tuesday, November 14th:   

6:30pm: Open Jam @ Coyote Music Den, 6:30-9pm – sing, play, listen – all ages, all levels welcome (youth are encouraged to come at 6:30). No charge, but donations welcome.

Wednesday, November 15th:

10am: OCBA Contributor input time: The OCBA board will meet @ Gaffer's at 8:30am for their regular monthly meeting. At 10am, contributors (members) may join in to give feedback or ask questions. OCBA no longer holds monthly public meetings. 

6:30pm: Youth Choir Practice @ the Methodist Church. Open to all Ocracoke middle and high school students. 

7pm: Word Play @ Coyote Music Den, 7-8:30pm. If you love words … bring something you wrote, read, heard and share, listen or tell a story. No charge, but donations welcome.

Thursday, November 16th:

Friday, November 17th:

7pm: Ocracoke Alive Annual Membership Meeting @ Deepwater Theater. *Dessert and Coffee Provided*
What exactly is Ocracoke Alive and what do they do? Do you have questions or suggestions? Do you feel there's something you have to contribute to the organization? Become a member or renew your membership at the meeting, and/or sign up for committees or volunteer lists.

7:30pm: Live Music at the Coyote Music Den! The Coyote Music Den is in the Community Square, and will host Martin Garrish and Friends "Playing Your Ocracoke Memories" every Friday night through November. Beloved island native Martin Garrish shares songs – "signposts of life" – and enchanting stories about growing up on Ocracoke. $15 for adults/$7 for kids under 12. More info at www.coyotemusic.net

Saturday, November 18th: 

9am: Ocracoke Happy Healthy Holiday Health Fair! @ the Fire Hall. 9am–1pm. Get health checks with the OBX Hospital's mobile unit! See the Fire Trucks! Learn about the services offered at Ocracoke Health Center including the Patient Portal. Get your Flu Shot! And more!

4pm: Baby Shower for Crystal and Will @ the Community Center. Ocracoke Current readers know Crystal Canterbury from her writing and photography. We're so happy to announce that Crystal and her husband, Will, are expecting in February! Join in the floating baby shower for baby Grady James, 4–6pm. (Crystal loooooves sea turtles!)

6:30pm: Live Music!  Martin & Lou @ Oyster Co. 6:30-9:30pm

Sunday, November 19th:  

11am: Fried Chicken Fundraiser @ Jason's Restaurant Two boneless fried chicken thighs, mashed potatoes & gravy, coleslaw, a roll with butter, and iced tea, all for $10. This is to help pay for the Middle School Dolphins basketball team as they travel to the basketball showcase in Durham on Saturday Dec. 9th.

Services at both churches: 11am: Ocracoke United Methodist Church Youth Choir will sing! 

Ocracoke United Methodist (Sunday School 10am; service at 11am) and Ocracoke Assembly of God (Sunday School 10am, services at 11am and 7pm).
