St. Patrick's Day, Ocracoke-Style

The Parade begins at 4:15pm at the Ocracoke Station and travels down Hwy. 12 to the Ocracoke Bar & Grille (O'Bar). 

This year Brian the Leprechaun will serve as Grand Marshal and Puba of Tomfoolery for the Second Annual O'Bar St. Patricks Day Parade.

Registration is FREE (enter as many floats or groups as you want) and begins at 3:30pm at the Ocracoke Station. A single winner will be awarded $550 for the best float or group effort. In the 1st Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade last year, Howard's Pub won the prize and donated it to Ocracoke School. Local businesses are encouraged to enter a float, freely distribute swag (cups, T-shirts, coupons, etc.) along the parade route and at both venues.

At O'Bar, there'll be corned beef and cabbage, green beer, and live music. Brian will be there to provide all the holiday highjinks one can handle.
