Ocracoke Civic and Business Association is once again a Platinum Level Sponsors of the 2016 Ocracoke Island 5K/10K run and 1 Mile Family Fun Run, and the new Ocracoke Island Half Marathon.

This year’s race is looking to be a great event especially with the addition of the Half Marathon on Sunday! Even if you aren’t a runner, come on down and cheer on those who are running and support some great Ocracoke Non-Profits!

The Ocracoke Island 10K/5K and 1 Mile Family Fun Run will be held Saturday April 23rd, 2016. Over the last 4 years, the 5K/10K Race has raised over $100,000 for Ocracoke Island non-profits. In past years, the funds were divided equally between WOVV Ocracoke Community Radio, the Ocracoke School Athletic Boosters Club, and the Ocracoke Community Park. For 2016 we are also adding Ocracoke’s First Half Marathon, and are bringing in the Ocracoke Child Care as a fourth beneficiary of the events.
