Bland is the Kenan Distinguished Professor at UNC-Chapel Hill and longtime pianist of the Tony Award-winning Red Clay Ramblers. He has written eight books about eastern Carolina and collaborated on the musicals King Mackerel & The Blues Are Running, Diamond Studs, and Kudzu. He regularly covers N.C. rivers and waterways for UNC TV’s Our State. Look forward to a delightful evening of stories and songs!
