Deck the Halls!

Teresa O'Neal is organizing the Island Celebration contest, which is sponsored by Ocracoke Civic and Business Association. She'll find (all four) visitors on the island (or shanghai some friends) on December 16th and drive them around to see ALL the lights. She's careful not to sway the judges or let on where her own decorating skills have been put to use. 

The judges will award prizes in four categories. 

For local businesses there's just one prize: Best in Show. (Go big or go home.)

Your homeplace could win Best Theme, Most Traditional, or Most Original. 

Each winner will receive two (2) prizes: a lovely yard sign (that Teresa will stealthily place so the winners will discover them on the morrow), and a year's worth of bragging rights. 

Thanks to everyone who puts on a display and makes the island merry and bright!
