Singing, dancing, and swordfighting pirates woo talented village girls on the eve of Blackbeard's final battle at Ocracoke! If you saw it last year, you need to see it again – there's a new Blackbeard, new pirates and village girls, and even a new song! The show runs Monday nights, July 6 – August 17. For presale tickets and more info visit http://www.ocracokealive.org.

Coyote Plus One howls again! Their special guest again this week is the talented Jon Lea, who grew up on Ocracoke and  started out his musical career as a teen performing at the old Flat Cat Cafe open mic nights sponsored by the Ocracoke Youth Center! Jon's all grown up now and has played on many island (and off-island stages) with several different bands. Come out and see him join in with Marcy and Lou! The show starts at 8pm at the Community Center, and admission is $15 (free for kids under 12.) Not on Ocracoke? The live show will be broadcast on the web at concertwindow.com/coyote (cost = $1). Isn't technology amazing?
