SHOPPING
Most Ocracoke shopkeepers take the winters off, but if they're around (cleaning, doing inventory, getting ready for the new season) they will often open their doors for customers. Even if your favorite shop isn't on this list, you might chance upon finding it open. Most shops will open for the season in mid-March, and by Easter at the latest.
