Kelly Gaskins Waltz has family ties to the island – her grandmother, Bernice "Bunny" Gaskins, lives here. Kelly tells us,"I have been going to the island every summer my whole life. Now my boys, ages 6 and 4, have been carrying on the tradition."

She sent us a few of her favorite shots from over the years. "The last two are from this past summer when we celebrated Granny’s 90th Birthday while we were there. Granny had her first “selfie” with my husband and brother-in-law," Kelly told the Current.
