Happy Halloween!
Island youngens will take to the streets for Trick-or-Treating this afternoon.
Most will head Down Point and do their begging around the Loop Road, starting around 4 p.m. Venturing to the other side of the island will be well worth it for the kids who get a Kati Wharton cupcake creation at the OPS Museum.
Ocracoke is a town that loves to dress up. Come on out to Dajio tonight to see the costume creativity. Prizes will be awarded in four categories: Scariest, Funniest, Most Original and Best of Show. There'll be live music with Lou Castro and the Jazzcasters, a buffet, and $10 plates of delicious Dajio dinners. After this big blow-out, Dajio will close for the season, so don't miss it!
