Ferry Tolls Meeting at Community Center

Press Release
LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!!

A very important meeting will be held tomorrow (Thursday, March 1) at 5:30 p.m. at thCounty Seale Ocracoke Community Center to prepare citizens for the fight against ferry tolls. Hyde County has partnered with lobbyist Joe McClees, and his wife Henri, to help our voices be heard by legislators in Raleigh. They will facilitate the informational gathering and citizens will have the chance to work with them on a personal level.

The joint legislative committee on transportation will meet on Friday, March 9 and we are hoping Hyde County will have a strong presence there. Everyone is encouraged to come to the Community Center tomorrow and learn how they can help "fight the good fight."
