Ocracoke Dolphins Do Prom

This year's Ocracoke School prom was another great success, and the social media are buzzing with pix of our local kids looking all beautiful and/or handsome. The Ocracoke Current always claims a press pass and gets photos on the scene! 

On Friday evening, twenty-one Ocracoke high school kids, and three off-island guests enjoyed a delicious fiesta lovingly prepare by Eduardo Chavez of Eduardo's Taco Stand served up at the Community Center. DJ Julio Morales provided tunes for the dance partied that followed.

Principal Walt Padgett crowns senior Bricia Rivera as the 2017 Prom Queen

Senior Dylan Sutton gets his crown. This will be Mr. Padgett's last crowning ceremony – he retires from Ocracoke School next week.
