Dolphins Continue Winning Season

Last Wednesdays games were blowouts.

We will not be reporting on the JV boys game because there was no game for JV. Moving on to the Varsity Girls game, the score was 71-39 in favor of Ocracoke. Some stats of the game are: Sydney Austin scored 28 points, Ingrid Contreras made 15 points, and Brycia Moreno scored 8 points.

Now to the Varsity Boys game. That score was 64-43 in favor of Ocracoke. Some stats from the game are: Evin Caswell scored 10 points, Dalton Kalna made 12 points, Liam Caswell scored 11 points, and Matteus Gilbert scored 8 points.

There were supposed to be games on Friday and on Saturday but they were rescheduled due to weather. That wraps up Wednesday’s games.

The Varsity teams will host two home games this week in the Dolphin Tank: on Wednesday the Dolphins will take on the Perquimans Pirates (games start at 3pm) and on Saturday they'll play the Plymouth Vikings (games start at 2pm).

One Friday, the high school teams will travel across the sound to take on the Mattamuskeet Lakers.

The middle school team plays away on Wednesday at Creswell, and on Thursday at home against Columbia at 4pm.
