Another win against Creswell made it a great week in the Dolphin Tank.

Last Wednesday (1/13) and Thursday’s (1/14) games for the Ocracoke Middle School boys were definitely not close games.

The first game which was Hatteras vs Ocracoke had a score of 47-11 in favor of Ocracoke. It was a definite blowout with stats like 13 points scored by Perry Austin, 6 points made by Mason Fuller, 2 points scored by Adam Sitterson, 11 points scored by Reese Gaskins, and 2 points made by Dylan Esham. Well, that is the first game, let’s move on to the second game against Creswell.

The score of this game was 46-5 in favor of Ocracoke. It was another definite blowout with stats like 10 points scored by Perry Austin, 10 points made by Parker Gaskill, 9 points scored by Reese Gaskins, 4 points made by Mason Fuller, and 4 points scored by Dylan Esham. Since there is not enough girls for a middle school team this year, 8th grader Vanessa Lora is allowed to play with the middle school boys team. She is doing quite well with the boys' team. She scored her first basket of the season in the winning game against Creswell.

That wraps up the two middle school boys games from last week.

On Wednesday, January 21st, the middle school Dolphins broke their winning streak, losing by just one point to the Mattamuskeet Lakers in an away game in Swan Quarter.
