Develop an Emergency Response Plan for your business at a training workshop March 10th at the Ocracoke Community Center.

What’s your emergency response plan for your small business?  Do you have a business continuity plan in case of natural disaster, technology failures, or other business interruptions?

All businesses are welcome Tuesday, March 10th, 10am – 12:30pm at the Community Center to join us for a free training session to get your questions answered. Business and emergency management experts, and the Small Business Administration Resource Partners will discuss: Incorporating continuity planning into your overall business plan; types of minor and major business disruptions; tips on how to deal with anticipated and unexpected changes in your small business; interaction with external organizations including contractors and vendors.

Expected Outcome

  • Each student will begin creating a plan to prepare their business for the unexpected
  • Learn how to access helpful on-line tools to assist in the process
