The 15th annual Ocrafolk Festival will showcase new and returning artists this year on Ocracoke Island, NC, on June 6-8, 2014.

The weekend is presented by Ocracoke Alive, and celebrates music, storytelling, and artisans from the NC coastal region and beyond. The Ocrafolk Festival was rated as one of the top fifteen island festivals in the world in Coastal Living Magazine.

The 2014 Ocrafolk Festival is also seeking individual and business sponsorships.  "Every year we try to bring back favorites from past seasons and add a spark of something new, " says director David Tweedie.  "In addition to our heartfelt thanks and press recognition, sponsors can receive tickets to the Friday Night Fish Fry and special seating at Saturday night Ocrachicks or Donald Davis performances, sailing trips on the Skipjack Wilma Lee, and supporter buttons and T-shirts.  Best of all, donors help ensure that this great event can happen for another year."  The festival is financed with donations, grants, admission buttons, merchandise sales and fundraisers.

Interested contributors can find out more information on donation levels here and can donate online or by mail. The press deadline for contributors for inclusion in the program is April 25.
