Chances are, he and his family are on the island right now. Here's what he wrote when he sent these photos on July 31st:
"Good morning! Well in a little over two weeks we get to visit our favorite place on earth. We live in Archdale, NC just outside High Point and have been coming to Ocracoke for the past 4 years. Only regret is that it took me so long to discover the Pearl of the Outer Banks. My brother was working in Hatteras at Slash Creek back in 2009 and we “discovered” your piece of heaven on our way there. Came back for our honeymoon that October and we try and get out a couple times a year. See you on the 18th!
