Bring your cats, feral or friendly, to the Ocracats Trap-Neuter-Release Clinic this weekend.

Ocracats, Inc. is sponsoring a Trap-Neuter-Release Clinic on November 16 – 17 at the Firehouse. A veterinary team from Carteret County is bringing a mobile unit over to assist in the clinic. Feral cat spay and neuter and rabies shots will be paid for by Ocracats. 

Trapping will begin on Thursday, Nov. 15. If you have feral cats in your neighborhood that need to be trapped, please sign up at the Post Office. Ocracats can provide traps and assistance in trapping. 

Pets will also be seen at this clinic on Saturday, Nov. 17. Cost for spay/neuter of pet cats is $60.00 cash. This includes rabies shot and first series of cat vaccinations. 

Please sign up at the Post Office if you want to bring your pet. Clinic starts at 8 a.m. both days.

Ocracats is missing several traps and carrying cases. If you have one, please return it to the Firehouse on Friday, Nov. 16 as early as possible.
