OVFD Back to School

As a new school year starts the Ocracoke Volunteer Fire Department would like to wish our Junior Firefighters and our one Firefighter student a good school year.

A thank you for your summer service goes to Junior Firefighters Casey Tolson and Adam Carter as they return to Ocracoke H.S., Emmet Temple as he attends the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (high school drama program), and to Firefighter Blackburn Warner as he returns to East Carolina University.

There were 22 calls for July: 16 - Medical Responders, 2- Airport Medivacs, 1 - Fire, 3 - Ocean Rescues
