Presenting Whitton Carpenter Piland, born April 10, 2012, 7 lbs.

6 oz., 20 inches long! He's pictured here with his Mom (Amy), big brother (Jameson), and Dad (Jared).

Whitton gets a big welcome from the Current because of his proud Ocracoke grandparents, Jim and Mary Ellen Piland, a.k.a. P Pa and Mel Mel. Jameson and Whitton's maternal grandparents are Linda and Ron Hough of Greensboro.

Whitton will make his Ocacoke debut on Memorial Day weekend!
