Let's try a little....

Homegrown, Handmade, Fresh-Caught Market

 

WHAT: A market for gardeners, fishermen, craftspeople, cooks and artists who would like to sell their creations in a cooperative venue.

WHERE: The Community Square. Outside, unless raining, then inside Community Store.

WHEN: Saturday, May 12, 2012, 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

COSTS: No space fees this first time. You set your own prices and sell your own goods.

HOW: You bring your own goods, tables, chairs, display things and helpers. There will be no electricity available. Spaces will be limited to eight feet. We will not be able to tailgate for this market. You may unload at the Square, and then park at the National Park Service lot near the Ocracoke Preservation Society Museum.

You may set up at 7:00 a.m. In case of rain, we will use the Community Store and the shelves and display areas that are there and you will not need your own large tables.

WHO: All are welcome if your goods are homegrown, handmade or fresh-caught. Please, no "yard sale" items. Food items should be packaged appropriately and safely. Please label as needed.
