OCBA is one of several platinum sponsors of the event,

the First Annual Ocracoke Island 5K Run and 1 Mile Family Fun Run slated for Saturday April 28th beginning at 8am. The event is a fundraiser for local non-profits, WOVV Ocracoke Community Radio 90.1, and the recently created Ocracoke School Athletic Boosters Club.

The event is USA Track & Field Certified; certification code NC-12015-PH.
