Jade López and José Suazo own and operate what has come to be known as “The Blue Truck” by locals and visitors alike. Officially known as Taqueria 504 Suazo's, they primarily serve TexMex cuisine and authentic Honduran specials on occasion.
Like many Ocracoke business owners, they suffered substantial damage when hurricane Dorian hit. After the storm, Jade and José found their food storage building flooded and their freezers floating in 3 feet of flood water. Luckily the truck itself did not experience serious damage.
