Ocracoke looks different this holiday season, but we are still mustering up some Christmas cheer. Here's what's happening on the sandbar....
The Ocracoke Current calendar is a great source for events and information. We post updates on our Facebook page, too! This story will be updated as needed with more information, so check back!
2pm: The Beaufort-Hyde Partnership for Children @ Community Center, 2-7pm. FREE tablets, toys, and blankets for Ocracoke fulltime resident kids.
4:30pm: Post-Dorian Support Group meeting @ Lightship Realty: Free support group for grief and loss. All residents are welcome. With the holidays there will be more acute feelings of loss for many on the island. Our recovery from Dorian continues to influence how we respond to daily events on the island. Sharing space with others in a safe, supportive environment and talking about the challenges and learning tools for coping can make a difference. Facilitated by Ruth Fordon and Desiree Ricter. Please share this post.
