Friends of Portsmouth to Meet May 18
A group trip to Portsmouth Island with a village tour will follow the meeting.

The Friends of Portsmouth Island will hold its spring meeting at Ocracoke School on Saturday, May 18, 2019.  The meeting begins at 10:00 and is open to the public.

You do not have to sign up for the tour in advance, just show up at the meeting. Rudy Austin will do a headcount and those touring will leave right after the meeting adjourns. The boat ride to Portsmouth is $20 per person, round trip.

Elections for the next 2-year term will be held for members to vote, and plans for Homecoming 2020 will be discussed.  Portsmouth t-shirts and books will be available for purchase, and door prizes will be awarded at the end of the meeting.
