Oh, the Weather Outside is Frightful

The Shop Local Day and OPS Historic Homes Tour that were planned for today are cancelled so we can all stay home, warm and dry.

The village-wide Shop Local Day will now be on Saturday, December 15th from noon-4pm. Yes, that's also the same day as the second half of the Ocracoke School Holiday Basketball Tournament (games start in the morning) and the Ocracoke Community Christmas Concert at 7pm. It will be a fun and festive day! Shops will be open and the OPS Museum will host the 1st and 2nd grade elves, who will wrap your gifts for a class fundraiser. 

The annual OPS Historic Homes Tour has been postponed. The new date is TBA. Stay tuned, and we'll let you know as soon as a new date is decided!
