And support your local library at the Annual Used Book Sale!

The library is happily accepting donations of used books for the Annual Used Book Sale. (Please, no VHS tapes or magazines.) Drop off donations during regular library hours this week: Monday–Friday, 3pm-7pm, and Saturday, 9am-1pm on or before July 1st. Clean off your shelves and make room for some great new reads!

Ocracoke Friends of the Library will hold their annual used book sale on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019.

Doors open at 8:30 a.m. for the Early Bird sale (It's for members only. Not a member? Join on the spot and come on in!)

Library patrons and book sale shoppers are invited to join Friends of the Library. It's a mere $5 for individuals and $10 for a whole family. Forms are available – where else? – at the library.

The doors open to everyone else at 9am and helpful volunteers will be available to assist you with your purchases until 2pm.

Used books give you more bang for your buck and contribute to a great cause. Friends of the Library helps provide funding, programming, and support to Ocracoke Library.

The Used Book Sale will continue throughout July and some of August during regular library hours.

The Friends of the Library also has an ongoing Used Book Sale in the back room at Ocracoke Coffee Company (conveniently located across the street from the library.) All proceeds benefit our wonderful little library and its programs.

All the cool kids are into reading. See you there at the Book Sale!
