Get Ready for the Festival Latino

Pinata-making and dance workshops offered to get Ocracoke in the festive spirit!

Ocracoke's newest festival will celebrate the island's Latino residents and their heritage. Immerse yourself in the dance, music, and traditions of your friends and neighbors. Also, there will be food. Amazing food.

Get Ready for the Festival Latino

Here's the official schedule of events, starting with a pinata-making workshop this weekend. These are not your run-of-the-mill party store pinatas. These are works of art.

Next week, you can learn a few dance steps of ballet folklorico. Por que no?

Look for printed programs and schedules around the village this week. They're in Spanish and English!
